You probably will recall that Jim joined Cher in October, 2004 on her farewell tour and when Paul Mirkovich returned he continued to play guitar until April 30th, 2005. Congratulations to Jim! Also in the news you can find a review from a fan who recently attended one of the shows and shares information on Jim's duet with Cher during the song After All. The Best Damn Tour 2008, A Year Later This past week marks the one year anniversary of the official kick off Avril Lavigne's The Best Damn Tour. A tour that took Jim all over the world throughout Canada, the United States, The UK, Europe, and Asia. An impressive roster of close to 100 hundred shows. On March 5th, 2008 we both had the unique opportunity to witness the inaugural show in Victoria, British Columbia followed by two more concerts in Vancouver and Kelowna, BC. Recently we've been reflecting on our time together that week. And what a week it was. Reminiscing about our friendship of well over ten years now, the anticipation of planning for the trip, and finally meeting up again (after eight years since the last time we've seen each other in person) at the Vancouver International Airport the morning of March 4th, 2008. From there, our week of fun and rockin' out at the shows began! It would be impossible to list out the most memorable moments for us during that time, so many stand out for us. One would certainly be the opportunity for both of us to meet Jim. A year later, looking back at the concerts, we are pleased to present a number of special Jim blends acknowledging the official kick off to The Best Damn Tour!
