  May 06th, 2015 - Update from Jim
Says Jim:

I’ve been very busy running between a few different productions and some shows with Cassadee. I built a studio in LA and have been working from there a lot. Here is the website for it: greenhillrecording.com. In addition to producing projects from there, I have also been renting it out to other producers, etc. for projects - so, that has been interesting. I just finished producing a 5 song EP for an artist named Michelle Featherstone that I am incredibly proud of. Michelle was in The Awesomeness with me and she have written some really cool songs - and we pushed her production to places she has never gone before as an artist - which has been really fun. I’m also producing a 16 year old girl named Em Rossi who is awesome. She’s got a very mature voice, and I’ve been having a great time working with her. We have 5 songs done, and are working on a handful of others. I recently played all the guitars on a 14 song record for a Mexican artist named Yahir. He is a great guy and the record should be pretty epic - although all the lyrics are in Spanish :) I’ve also been producing a few other things, as well as a few new Flashback Reunion ideas with my partner Chris. I’ve also been doing a lot of writing with various other writers/artists. As for the summer touring, we are mainly just doing weekend shows with Cassadee - pretty much every weekend in June/July. I’m also playing a one off show with Kate Voegele in VA on May 15 opening for Colbie Callait.  

July 06th, 2015 - Jim officially announces the opening of his new studio
Says Jim:

I am very excited to officially announce the opening of my new studio Green Hill. A full recording facility and production house, Green Hill was professionally designed and created to meet the needs of a variety of musical styles and genres. The studio features 12ft. high ceilings in the live and control room along with state of the art recording gear and an impressive collection of vintage and new instruments.

We offer hourly, day rates and weekly lockouts. Services include: full music production : (including guitars, keyboards, pianos, bass, vocals, programming, editing, mixing), songwriting, arranging, vocal comping and tuning.

Green Hill is owned and operated by producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Jimmy McGorman.
Jimmy has worked with: Gwen Stefani, Avril Lavigne, Shakira, Weezer, Goo Goo Dolls, Michelle Branch, Marc Broussard, New Radicals, Paul Stanley (KISS), Poison, Bret Michaels, Matt Nathanson, Cassadee Pope and Miley Cyrus. In addition to production, Jimmy is available for sessions as a songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist.

In our first few months of operation, we have held sessions for Cassadee Pope (Winner of The Voice: Republic/Nashville), Mr. Hudson (Universal artist and producer), Alex DeLeon of The Cab (Republic Records) and Hollywood Records.
