The studio started operating in early 2015. Says Jim:
I built
a studio in LA and have been working from there a lot. In
addition to producing projects from
there, I have also been renting it out to other producers, etc. for
projects - so, that has been interesting.

Studio - Purple Tongue Studio
After forming the Purple Tongue Records
label (togehter with his patners Robb Vallier, Chris Thompson, Marc
Slutsky and Dante Mackay) Jim moved to a brand new studio in
2012. It's Los Angeles based recording and production studio.
Says Jim:
It is a full pro studio with tracking room, control room and
2 iso booths - and it will allow us to record bands and much larger
things - in a super pro controlled environment - and looks cool too :)

Jim is now
producing and developing aspiring young artists from his full
production studio in Los Angeles. The studio features a 1927 Mason and
Hamlin baby grand piano, a large collection of vintage guitars and
keyboards (Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer), the latest software (ProTools HD
system, Logic Pro) and synths. The technology is cutting edge, but what
raises the level of a craft to an art is the connection Jim has with
artists.
Jim's ability
to play guitar, piano, bass and sing make him invaluable in the studio.
The cost savings of this alone can cut the fledgling artist and label's
production budget almost in half. This money can be used for
promotional efforts, which in today's music market are a must.
